RotFL Terms of Use
1. What RotFL is
Ready on the Firing Line (RotFL™) is a free app from Conrad Analytics LLC ("we", "us"). It helps match officials run a match and review what an electronic target system recorded. RotFL is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with ShotMarker, Autotrickler, the NRA or the CMP. RotFL is our trademark.
2. Officials decide, not the app
RotFL shows measurements, checks and suggestions. It never decides a score, a challenge or a crossfire. Those decisions belong to the match officials, under the rules of the match. Where those rules name an official timer or official scoring, that is what governs. RotFL's timer and checks are aids only.
3. Use it responsibly
- Follow the range's and the match's rules for phones on the firing line.
- Don't use RotFL to interfere with a match, a target system or another person's device.
- Don't change records on a target system you aren't authorized to manage.
4. Your data
The app keeps what it records on your phone. It sends us your match record only when you tap to send it, and anything else, such as a backup for a post-match review, only when you choose to send it through our website.
We keep what you send whole, encrypted, and use it to give you the review, to study how target systems behave, and to improve the app. A review is analysis after the match. It doesn't change any official's decision.
Anything we share back has other shooters' names and the target system's password taken off first. We never sell data, and we don't publish full names on public pages.
5. No guarantees
RotFL is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be wrong, incomplete or unavailable, and target system software may change in ways that affect it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of RotFL, including match results, scores, rulings or decisions made with it.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is posted here. If they change in a way that matters, RotFL will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
